About the event

A three-round technology quiz for teams of two. Start with multiple-choice questions, move through visual and rapid-fire rounds, and finish with a high-stakes buzzer final.

Event schedule

  1. 2:00 PM – 2:30 PMArrival, registration and rules briefing
  2. 2:30 PM – 2:50 PMRound 1: Preliminary
  3. 2:50 PM – 3:15 PMRound 2: Tech Challenge
  4. 3:15 PM – 3:40 PMRound 3: Grand Finale
  5. 3:40 PM – 4:00 PMResults, prizes and photographs

Rules

  1. Round 1

    25 MCQs. +1 for a correct answer, no negative marking. Top 10 teams qualify.

  2. Round 2

    Visual technology questions and rapid fire. Top 4 teams qualify.

  3. Grand Finale

    Buzzer round with difficult technical questions: +10 for correct, -5 for wrong. A final-score tie is resolved by a sudden-death buzzer question.

  4. Conduct

    Follow the quizmaster’s instructions and answer within the stated time. Mobile phones and outside assistance are prohibited. The quizmaster’s decision is final.
