About the event

Build a viable business model around a technology idea. Teams may propose a hardware or software solution and must explain the problem, their approach, users, value, feasibility and potential impact.

The initial round uses a closed-room format to protect every team’s idea. Each team gets about 7 minutes to pitch and 3 minutes for questions from the judges. The top 25% of teams go through to the final round.

Rules

  1. Pitch format

    About 7 minutes to pitch and 3 minutes of questions per team. Timings may be adjusted slightly on the day.

  2. Qualification

    The top 25% of teams from the initial round continue to the final round.

  3. Confidentiality and judging

    Pitching is private, ideas remain confidential and individual marks are not published. Updated judging criteria and complete rules will be shared through the official Ideathon portal.

  4. Ideathon portal

    A dedicated portal will issue team or token numbers, announce team call-ups, share updates and publish the finalist list.
